For the past 16 years, the Zonta Club of Melton has nominated a woman who has made an outstanding contribution to the Melton community as our Woman of Note. This award is part of the Club’s International Women’s day activities and is presented to the recipient at the International Women’s Day dinner in March. The recipient is selected by the Service Committee from the local area. This woman is not necessarily a member of Zonta, but someone who has made an outstanding contribution to serving the Melton community in a volunteer capacity.

The 2022 Woman of Note Award was presented to Our Charter President Bianca Heaney for her many years of volunteering service for many varied organisations within our community.
